Shopfloor Copilot ("we", "us", "our") is a software product that provides an AI-powered Manufacturing Execution System (MES) by Machina Intelligence, currently in live demo and pilot evaluation. Our website is shopfloor-copilot.com.

2. What Data We Collect on This Website

When you visit shopfloor-copilot.com, we collect:

• Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. Retained for 30 days for security purposes.
• Email enquiries: Name, company (if provided), email address, and message content sent to our contact address. This website has no contact submission form. Used solely to respond to your enquiry.
• No cookies are set on this marketing website unless you log in to a product trial instance.

Live Demo & Pilot Evaluation Phase. Shopfloor Copilot is an on-premise AI-powered MES by Machina Intelligence. The public hosted instance runs on simulated plant data and uses a cloud LLM for speed. On-premise pilot deployments run locally via Docker Compose and Ollama. Production readiness must be validated during pilot evaluation.

Avoid entering personal, confidential, or real production information into the shared public demo: AI prompts may be processed by its cloud LLM provider. Locally configured Ollama pilots process prompts within your network; an optional external API fallback sends prompts to that provider.

3. Product Data (On-Premise Pilot Deployment)

Shopfloor Copilot software is deployed on your own infrastructure. All production data — OEE metrics, machine signals, shift records, operator notes — is stored entirely within your facility's servers. We have no access to your production data.

The local AI inference engine (Ollama) processes all AI queries within your network. With local Ollama configured and external API fallback disabled, AI queries stay within your network.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To respond to contact and demo requests
• To diagnose technical issues (server logs, with your consent)
• To improve the website and product

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For visitors in the European Economic Area, our legal basis for processing personal data is:

• Legitimate interests (server logs for security)
• Contract performance / pre-contractual steps (responding to enquiries)

6. Data Retention

• Server access logs: 30 days
• Contact enquiries: 2 years, or until you request deletion

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise any right, email info@shopfloor-copilot.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

This website is served over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). We enforce HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) and apply standard security headers. Contact form data is transmitted encrypted.
